Michael S. Bednar, MD, has been named affiliate government director of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgical procedure, in accordance with a press launch.
Bednar is the chief of hand surgical procedure at Loyola College Medical Heart and a professor of orthopedic surgical procedure and rehabilitation on the Loyola College Chicago Stritch Faculty of Medication. In line with the discharge, he’ll start the part-time position of affiliate government director on July 1.

“The board obtained functions from many outstanding orthopedic surgeons, however Dr. Bednar’s background, perception and expertise will likely be helpful to the [American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery] in elevating our applications to new ranges,” David F. Martin, MD, government director of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgical procedure, mentioned within the launch. “I’ve recognized Dr. Bednar for a few years and know that he will likely be profitable on this new place,” Martin mentioned.
